The focus was on building a practical and user-friendly platform that could generate revenue through consultations and product sales.
Our Process
We began by understanding the client’s revenue model in detail, focusing on consultation bookings, digital astrology reports, and product sales. This helped us structure the overall app flow in a way that supports each revenue stream clearly and efficiently.
Next, we planned a simple and smooth user journey. The booking process was designed to be straightforward: users can browse astrologers, select a service, complete the payment, and receive confirmation without confusion. Special attention was given to making astrologer profiles, service details, and payment steps easy to understand and access.
For development, we built a cross-platform mobile application using React Native to support both Android and iOS. The backend was developed using Supabase and NestJS to manage data, authentication, and system logic. We integrated the PayU payment gateway for secure transactions, connected a Kundali API for horoscope generation, and implemented WhatsApp API for booking alerts. A centralized admin panel was also developed to manage users, astrologers, bookings, and products from one place.
During the testing phase, we carefully checked the complete booking flow, payment confirmations, API responses, and notification triggers multiple times to ensure accuracy and reliability.
After final approval, we deployed the mobile application, configured the backend on the live server, and verified that all integrations—including payments and APIs—were functioning properly in the production environment.
Challenges Addressed
The main challenge was connecting multiple external services — PayU, Kundali API, AI chat, and WhatsApp API into one smooth booking flow.
For example, When a user books an astrologer, the system must:
Process the payment
Confirm the booking
Notify the astrologer
Send confirmation to the user via WhatsApp
Record everything correctly in the admin panel
Any delay or mismatch could affect user trust.
Another challenge was handling sensitive birth details used for Kundali generation. We ensured proper database structure and secure storage practices to protect user information.
By organizing the backend properly and testing each integration carefully, we made sure the system worked reliably.
